5251 Serial Number Restoration (2025) Price: $290.00
Participants receive a piece of steel bar stock with a six (6) character serial number that has been obliterated as well as a piece of aluminum bar stock intended as a standard for the size, shape, and positioning of the stamped alphanumeric characters used in the serial number. Participants are asked to report the recovered serial number along with the methodologies used in the preparation and recovery processes.
This test is included on CTS' Scope of Accreditation to ISO/IEC 17043.
Samples ship in July.
